Kitchen Islands
The kitchen centre piece is perfect for enjoying long periods of family cooking, with its two action zones. Composed of a continuous induction cooking surface and an end grain maple worktop which responds to an individual ideal height (found by measuring your flexed elbow height and then lowering by 80mm or 4 inches), the island will fit into modest sized kitchens due to its slightly narrower depth.
The rise-and-fall mechanism on the chopping block is optional and works at the touch of a button. This allows all generations to cook together, as when it is low it can also be used as a table for children to eat of, or play, as well as help cook. When it’s high it’s great as a drink bar or servery.
On the rectangular section a TPB induction hob (– more information on TPBtech.uk), means you don’t need to have visible cooking hobs – the action is hidden below the surface which allows for easy cleaning and flexible use of the surface whilst not be used for cooking.
Our studio is based in West Sussex and the furniture can be seen by request. We are also appointing kitchen studios and craft galleries to sell our unfitted kitchens across the UK, Ireland and Northern Ireland, USA, Australia, Switzerland and Japan.
